Swaney Elementary has a long history of providing quality education. With Early Childhood classrooms serving three through five year olds, the school and caring staff are equipped to start students on the right track for a successful learning adventure. Swaney staff take a lot of pride in what they do and together they have created a mission statement to unite them toward their goal of making Swaney great.

Swaney is proud to offer programming geared toward student success and engagement. Swaney was also named a Project Lead The Way Distinguished School in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.  

Swaney offers several programs in-house including Special Education and English Language Learners (ELL) to meet a variety of student needs. Reading and Math intervention help students make significant academic gains throughout the year. SMART Boards, iPads (1:1 Early Childhood-1st) and Chromebooks (1:1 2nd-5th) involve students physically and mentally in the learning process. Our staff, students, families and volunteers are all an important part of the Swaney Wildcat family!
